Hi All. I am working in the Dental setting. Currently, to achieve surface decontamination we employ a 2 stage wipedown of surfaces between patients – first with a detergent wipe followed by an alcohol impregnated wipe. Wipes are available which are a combined detergent/disinfectant – thereby reducing the time spent decontaminating surfaces between patients – also cost implication. Can I ask what others in the dental setting are doing? i.e. using two wipes or using a combined wipe?
