Hi Brona,
I advice to stick with Manufacturers Step by Step guide for cleaning and decontamination for those Incubators.
IPC also advices that all staff both nursing and HCA;s undertake training for C&D from the manufacturer annually and hold a training record.
As this task applies to all departmental staff both Nurses and HCA’s.
Moreover have requested managers to hold a copy of step by step guide as an additional resource in emergency /short staff situation with redeployments /agency staff…
Hope this is helpful.

Hi All, and Fiona,
In relation to aircon during building work, my experience @ MRHP was risk assessed – with ward , location, patient case load to those exposed bay’s /rooms and we chose aircon for temperature regulation with closure/seal the windows during the initial excavation phase. The aircon had some level of noise pollution but had the vent pipe fixed/well sealed to the windows for air exchange
Hepa-filter was considered pending on the high risk patient cohort/frequency and duration of potential dust exposure
I am not sure if SHIVA air conditioning limited company are doing combined aircon/hepa filters !
Hope this helps
Thankyou
