ParticipantIn Suh, GTN spray is single patient use only. In Ed and wards. If used on a patient GTN spray is labelled and sent with patient up to ward patient is going to. This is to reduce wastage. Hope this helps Jean

ParticipantHi Emer, this issue is already in place. I have made an official complaint from infection control in Sligo as the product Actichlor plus, a cleaning and disinfection agent was switched out to actichlor just disinfection without prior consultation. I have also raised this issue with general management. I was advised by NDC that if I wanted this product I would have to order non stock. Even though or stores list order actichlor plus they in their infinite wisdom have decided they can swab out these products. products were on ward and was causing a huge risk. Also happened with our hand hygiene wipes , product was removed from circulation as not on their list. I have also escalated this up to AMRIC. I think it would be beneficial for many people to make complaints especially as an overall group. regards jean

ParticipantHi Lenora, we do have a day services theatre in Sligo which would give GA for minor procedures, as there was n set guidance for these procedures in relation to ventilation we ended up treating it as a general theatre but surgeries much more minimal.

ParticipantThank you so much for this, I have spoken to Amric as no national guidance for advice. Trying to ensure there is no discrimination to anyone with this policy. regards Jean
